WHAT IS ROOFLINE?
Roofline is the term used to describe the fascias, soffits, bargeboards and cladding that forms the frontage and immediately below the roof and eaves of most houses. It also supports the guttering.
ABOUT UPVC ROOFLINE
Traditionally, roofline where constructed using timber but time has proven timber to rot and needs regular maintenance, such as repair and painting. uPVC has become the choice of home owners and builders alike. As when fitted, uPVC requires virtually no maintenance and never requires painting. uPVC is literally fitted and forgot as it will not rot, crack, split, warp or discolour.
Only by removing your existing decaying timber roofline and directly fitting uPVC to your roof timbers. We offer our 20 year guarantee; all joints are sealed against the elements before fitting new guttering and down pipes in your chosen colour and style. It is at this stage if requested, we would fit our dry verge system in either brown or slate grey.
WHAT NOT TO DO
We never capp over existing roofline timbers as this is just a look good at the time, quick fix that actually harms your property. By capping over existing decaying timber roofline you are sealing in damp rotting wood, which will effectively sweat and cause roof joints to erode.
Although most commonly fitted in white, uPVC is available in various colours and effects such as wood grains. We are more than happy to show you samples and explain the merits of various effects on your property.
We are happy to come to your home and give you a free inspection and a no obligation quote. These are always given within 30 minutes of inspection without any hard well. We just explain what we advise and how much it will cost. The rest is up to you.
